You find yourself in a dreamlike state. A strange figure stands a ways away from you, standing out from the forest-like environment. Do you approach him?

Beautiful beautiful work. The time and effort that you put into your game really shines through. The design choices and art marry together very harmoniously. There is good storytelling happening but also meaningful points of interaction for the player. I love the ethereal palettes that you’ve used, the characters that you’ve put together, and the distinct personalities that you’ve given the environments. The addition of animation to your graphics is very ambitious, so kudos to taking a swing at that as well. This game is absolutely playable and viable, as well as fun. I hope you’ll consider working on it more in the future!

This game was pretty and so comforting. Your concepts for the afterlife were so charming and it was a blast to explore!

I love the whole atmosphere of the game! It fits really well with the exploration that's being done!

The artwork and the animation work is all fantastic for this game! Many dialogue options make for a powerful and engaging conversation. It's a very interesting story, with hidden bits of lore and background surrounding our amnesiac hero!

Very intrigued by this world. Aesthetic is pog. Great work!

really cool story! i like the character building! i became a demon illusionist lol

gosh i really love the art in this, it's all so peaceful to look at. i also think asking the player's pronouns in the questionnaire section was a nice touch. :^)

The arts so beautiful, it's a nice journey. You did amazing

Looking good! The art really helps, and the placeholder elements are really promising. One thing I would suggest is to perhaps clarify the implicit lore a bit. What's the difference between The angel of death, and death itself? Is death something that occurs naturally, or another character we don't know yet? Similarly, I believe it would be interesting if, at the beginning, the angel is taking to you as if you DID remember apocalypse. For example, when it says "wolf-like creatures", he could say the name of the actual species, fully in the expectation that you know what that is. It seems like a small detail, but in order to the angel of death to be full-fledged character, he needs to change a bit with you. You already do some of that, and I know the new arc will add some of that, so it seems you know what you are doing. Keep it up!

Okay! That all makes sense. I'll work on clarifying everything a bit.

Thank you so much! :)

Great art additions. Very atmospheric and really set a definite tone. I love this color palette. It’s beautiful and moody which suit your story. As you progress, think about design choices for fonts and styling that will compliment your art and feel cohesive to your story's thematic directions. I’m really excited to see your art and design choices going forward if you stick with this game!

Thank you!! I will keep that in mind! :^)

Great pacing here. Kudos for building the momentum towards the big question at the end. You truly paint a picture with words, which actually goes well with the minimalism of this early stage of the game. If you decide to expand on this game, I would suggest to maintain this simplicity until the reveals that come with player decision pay off. One last thing: while adding variables to this story is sure to increase complexity and depth, consider having some front-facing variables (things the player can see), and some hidden ones (things the player does not see explicitly, but that have an effect on gameplay). A front-facing variable could be something like "fear" or "peace", while hidden variables could include the angels anger or sadness. Something to consider :)

thank you!!! I can't wait to work on it some more!

Nice player choices! I like that you gave me the option to be somewhere in the middle about my choices, and that you gave me more than just 2 choices. Great storytelling! This is a strong concept that opens a lot of possibilities for a player, which is exciting! I would be excited to see how you would treat your art and design choices like fonts, colors, and if music or sound would be involved. Heaven and hell would be amazing worlds for players to explore. I wonder how player choices and game opinions on who goes to hell or goes to heaven would play into the overall narrative. Looking forward to seeing more great work!
