This was a tricky platformer. Some of the platforms felt to small, especially since MC is a bit slippery to control. While I love the art of your enemies, character and background, there were multiple areas where I wasn't sure where I could safely jump. Vibing with the epic music.
A lot of work went into this, good job!!
Yeah, the jump can be kind of strange! thank you!
Wow, I can tell a lot of work went into this. Amazing job putting all of this together! Some of the jumps felt a little too narrow or high to managed, but overall it felt like there was enough challenge while also presenting opportunities for fun and skill. The art is very nice and I enjoyed the animations— for a moment I forgot that I was playing a game made by students in this class! Thematically, I don’t get an overall clear sense of story or narrative, but I do think that it is a fun game nonetheless. Well done and congrats!
haha thank you! We have plans in the future to add a story to it, we just decided we didn't have enough time to add it before its due date.
Oh I love this! The background art is so fun to look at, and I love the character design for both the main character and the enemies! I also really dig the background music you chose, it feels really fitting! Excellent work!!
thank you!!!
thank you!! I'm glad you're finding it somewhat challenging!
